INTERMEDIATE MS PROJECT 2013

Introduction:

This 1 day course provides the delegates with an in-depth look into Microsoft Project 2013 . Delegates will discover the full functionality and capability of the software. Classes are facilitated by an experienced Project Control Professional who has a wealth of practical experience in operating the software.

Objective:

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Set and manage baselines

  • Brief review of tasks, headlines, dependancies, durations, calendars, resources & constraints

  • Project Tracking & Project Control

  • Working with Baselines & Interim Plans

  • Entering Actual Times, Work & Costs

  • Using Views to focus on tracking

  • Load changes & slippage into a project

  • Visual Reports

  • Sending data to Excel

  • Formatting, Printing & Reporting Progress

  • Customising Project Reports & Views to show slippage & other Project issues

  • Status Date indicators, Progress Lines & Earned Value reporting

  • Managing concurrent Projects & Resource Pools

  • Split Tasks, Task Usage View, Work Contours & Resource Availability
