INTRODUCTION TO PRIMAVERA RISK ANALYSIS

Introduction:

This 1 day course provides the delegates with an introduction to Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA). Delegates will discover the basic functionality of the software. Classes are facilitated by an experienced Project Control Professional who has a wealth of practical experience in operating the software.

Objective:

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the way in which PRA utilises Monte Carlo

  • Become familiar with the functionality of Primavera Risk Analysis

  • Be able to import Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project schedules to perform basic schedule risk analysis

  • Understand the Quantitative and Qualitative elements of the Risk Register

  • Introduction to Risk Analysis

  • Risk Analysis of time schedules

  • Use of Quick Risk for a quick overview

  • Risk & Risk Register

  • Uncertainties of resource use and expenditures

  • Reports (e.g. Tornado graph & Distribution curves)

  • Percentiles of Probabilities

  • Management of countermeasures against risk

  • Transfer of projects and risk analysis between Primavera Risk Analysis and Primavera P6

  • Uncertainties and risk occurrence

  • Risk register and Matrix

  • Attaching risk occurrences to one or more activities

  • Extended use of Risk Register
